Dr. Richard Chien is a dedicated chiropractor in Markham, working as part of the multi-disciplinary health team at PinPoint Health Markham-Stouffville. His approach to care focuses on empowering patients with effective self-management strategies and evidence-based treatment techniques to achieve long-term improvements in pain and function.
As part of his comprehensive treatment plans, Dr. Chien integrates therapeutic exercises, acupuncture, and muscle and joint mobilizations to support recovery and optimize overall health. He is a graduate of McMaster University’s Kinesiology program and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and is certified in Western Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chien has contributed to research, co-authoring a review paper on myofascial pain as a concurrent condition in hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Chien enjoys running with the Markville Run Club, developing his tennis game, and learning hip hop dance.
