As of August 30, 2013, Humber Health Specialist Inc. has completed the acquisition of Humber Family Chiropractic Centre. The centre offers chiropractic, registered massage therapy, naturopathic medicine and orthotics.
The clinic is located inside of the Humber Green Medical Building in suite 101 at 100 Humber College Blvd in Rexdale, Ontario. The center is located directly across from William Osler Health System’s Etobicoke General Hospital, adjacent to Humber College’s North Campus and minutes from Woodbine Racetrack.
The clinic was started in 1993 by Dr. David Gryfe, Chiropractor, and it serves the communities of North Etobicoke, Rexdale, Malton, South Woodbridge/ Vaughan and the Brampton/ Gore area. The clinic will be rebranded to Humber Family Chiropractic, Rehabilitation & Wellness to better reflect the extent of services provided.
The clinic has already to date successfully treated thousands of patients for issues such as, back pain, neck pain and headaches and works directly with Extended Health Insurance, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) insurance and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).
Humber Health Specialist Inc, is excited for the completion of this transaction and to use Humber Family Chiropractic, Rehabilitation & Wellness as the model for its future plans of expansion into the medical and rehabilitation industry.
